Regarding Peaceful Rises

칭궈와 로즈크랜스는 평화적 흥기(peaceful rise)는 신흥강국이 기존 세계질서와 제도를 받아들이는지 여부, 해외 영토팽창의 포기 여부, 국가의 부 신장을 위해 무역에 의존하는지 여부, 자유주의나 민주주의와 같은 기본 가치의 공유여부에 의해 결정된다고 보고 있다. 두 학자는 기본적으로 중국을 미국 중심의 세계 질서에 순응하는 현상유지 국가로 파악하고 있다 Qingguo and Rosecrance believe that peaceful rise is determined by (1) whether emerging powers accept existing world order and institutions, (2) whether they abandon of foreign territorial expansion,(3) whether they depend on trade to boost the country, and (4) whether they share basic values such as liberalism and democracy. The two scholars basically identify China as a status quo that conforms to the U.S.-centered world order
